Extra Coarse 40- For stripping, dimensioning or other heavy removal.
Coarse 60/80- For removal and leveling of moderate surface imperfections.
Medium 100/120- For smoothing and light removal on bare surfaces.
Fine 150/180- For bare surface cleaning and finishing.
Very Fine 220- For primer and sealer sanding, and other very fine sanding of bare surfaces.
Extra Fine 320/400- For between coats, primer and sealer sanding.
