Coarse 60/80- Rough sanding. Smoothing or leveling floors.
Medium 100/120- Intermediate sanding. Removing scratches left by primary step.
Fine 150/180- Finish sanding. Prep floor for first coat of stain/sealer.
Extra Fine 220- Very fine finish sanding.
